The Institute of Product Development and Production Technologies (IPP) researches and supplies knowledge to aid the development of sustainable solutions in production technology. We are committed to the transformation of the economy from linear to circular and offer expertise, experience and infrastructure in various areas such as circular economy design, product development, digitalisation of machines and additive manufacturing.
The IPP in brief
The IPP is divided into five research groups that each deal with a contemporary topic in product and production technology: Circular Economy Design, Product Development, Digitalisation in Machines, Additive Manufacturing and Manufacturing Laboratory. We demonstrate our competencies in an extensive list of research projects and scientific publications. Thanks to our state-of-the-art infrastructure, we can offer high-quality, practice-based teaching and conduct applied research. We implement and test our developed solutions with experimental design, prototypes and test setups.
