Curriculum Mobility Science

The curriculum of your degree consists of different module types, which provide you with specialist knowledge, mathematical-scientific basics, practical experience as well as contextual knowledge from areas such as communication and business.

In the third year of study, depending on your interest, you can choose between three main areas and take the corresponding specialization and elective modules. Click on each module to learn more about choices, language of instruction and ECTS credits.

Transportation Practice Project 1

Transportation Economics 2

The course imparts advanced basic knowledge of economics and business administration, which a transport engineer should master in his professional function as a project employee and/or (partial) project manager, service or sales engineer or planning engineer as well as in a first management function. Not only is the internal view of various forms of companies in the transport system (from rail operations to independent cab companies and sharing services) trained, but also the micro- and macroeconomic influences that are crucial in transport as well as the significance of political influences are conveyed. The acquired knowledge will be applied in smaller case studies and exercises and the knowledge transfer will be tested. // Teaching language: DE

Intermodality and Multimodality

In future, the networking of means of transport in passenger and freight traffic will become much more important. The module gives an overview of the development paths and examines the topic of sharing using selected case studies. // Teaching language: DE

The module is centered around multiple linear regression and time series analysis.
