The specific objectives of the project AQUA-ROM were
- to contribute to poverty in deprived areas with promoting the principles on Aquaponic systems
- to develop and promote Aquaponic Technology in rural areas of Romania
- to set up channels for promoting training programs for interested farmers, students, policy makers and business people
During the project implementation, the focus in target groups shifted, and dissemination and promotion of Aquaponic via schools became the primary goal.
In order to promote this goal, the project partner ZHAW adapted the results from previous projects (notably the 6th Framework Programme «Wastewater Ressource», and the LEONARDO Project «Aqua-Vet») to share with the Romanian Partners.
We prepared a series of E-learning videos about the Aquaponic technology.
The videos are spoken in English and subtitled in Romanian. If subtitles are not visible enable them individually for your computer in the settings.
