2024 EFMC Prize to Rebecca Buller
The European Federation for Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology (EFMC) awards the 2024 EFMC Prize for a Young Medicinal Chemist or Chemical Biologist in Academia to Rebecca Buller.
EFMC was founded in 1969 and represents 31 scientific organizations from 26 European Countries. The objective of the independent association is to advance the science of medicinal chemistry and chemical biology within Europe and the World by promoting cooperations and scientific exchanges.
The selection committee designated Prof. Rebecca Buller (Zhaw School of Life Science and Facility Management, Switzerland) as the winner of the 2024 EFMC Prize for Young Medicinal Chemist or Chemical Biologist in Academia. The award acknowledges and recognizes outstanding contributions of researchers within 12 years of completing their doctorate.
The award ceremony will take place during the XXVIII EFMC International Symposium on Medicinal Chemistry (EFMC-ISMC 2024), scheduled to take place in Rome, Italy on September 1-5, 2024.
