Arbeits- und Forschungsschwerpunkte, Spezialkenntnisse
My research experience and interests include: foreign language production assessment (speaking and writing), the criteria used in such assessment and the validation support for their use, assessment criteria in general, validation theory and approaches in general, testing theory (Classical and Item Response), English-medium instruction (EMI) in higher education, EMI lecturer competence models, student feedback in internationalised higher education, the continuum of language learning and competence development across educational contexts and through to workplace integration, workplace identification and satisfaction, and academic writing. My research experience covers the collection and analysis of both qualitative (e.g., Verbal Protocol Analysis, Computer-assisted Qualitative Data Analysis) and quantitative (e.g., questionnaire design and analysis, regression modelling, Item Response Theory, Rasch scaling) data.
