BfR: Guideline for risk assessment of non-intentionally added substances (NIAS) in the area of food contact materials
The guideline was developed by the BfR with advice from experts from the BfR Commission for Consumer Products. A targeted consultation was held with stakeholders in the area of food contact materials and the draft guidance was discussed with members of the EFSA FCM Network. A summary of the comments submitted, along with a brief explanation from the BfR regarding their consideration or non-consideration in the final version of this guideline, is presented in the annex.
