Beschreibung
The project fills the need to enhance quality in Extended Education (EE) in all-day schools. The lack of policies and material as well as the diversity in staff in EE actually lead to a variety of educational activities that lack quality assurance and are not documented, hence not visible. What EE should and can be, how to develop EE to meet the demands of a changing society, how to establish non formal learning activities are unanswered questions. It is of great importance to increase quality and develop EE in all Europe because many children are attending these offerings. This participatory school development project on EE is an international European collaboration, where researchers and practitioners contribute to quality in EE to hereby facilitate pupils’ development of key competences. The project lasts three years, starting in Fall 2023.
