Beschreibung

Many biotech companies still struggle in exploiting the full potential offered by the rapid transformation towards automation, holistic use of data and implementation of digital tools. As compared to other industries, only few R&D labs and manufacturing plants already comply with 4.0 production concepts. This project establishes a set of interlinked hardware and software packages, with versatile applicability to diverse biotechnological R&D production settings. In an integrated environment of e.g. communicating devices, seamless data handling routines and model-based analysis and control concepts, existing gaps in the value chain of biotechnological products will be closed.
