Beruflicher Werdegang
After studying biology at ETH Zurich, I embarked on a PhD in neuroscience with a foot in biochemistry and one in the clinic. Three exciting startup years followed in the medical diagnostic field where I learned about the great experiences as well as difficult falls of a technology startup. Later, I helped build a widely recognised international competence center aiming at speeding up and driving bench-to-bedside translation in the neuroscience field through wisely bridging academic research with pharma, clinics and FDA. As talent understanding the implications of researchers AND medics was lacking, we set out to build a novel medical degree program in Switzerland with ETH in the lead. While working for the ETH Executive Board, together with my team I drove several transdisciplinary initiatives and launched projects such as the Student Project House or Strategic Foresight. I have a keen interest in spotting and collaborating with exceptional people to drive complex projects.
