Our goal is to bridge the gap between science and craft by disseminating validated, state-of-the-art coffee knowledge. We also want to calibrate coffee educators and disseminators of coffee knowledge with science-based coffee knowledge as well as equip innovators with actionable knowledge on coffee that they can leverage their work. Finally, we want to support the development leaders in the coffee sector that base their decisions on a holistic and responsible framework including all aspects and stakeholders of coffee.
Besides being a fascinating subject for research and a satisfying product to enjoy, coffee is also a wide-reaching interdisciplinary field that crosses borders and connects people across the globe at all levels of the coffee value chain. Our primary fundamental motivation remains our love for coffee and for the people working at all places along the coffee value chain.
