As the CEO of Swissnex in Brazil, Malin Borg manages offices in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. She began her journey at Swissnex in Brazil in 2013 and was instrumental in launching the newest addition to the Swissnex network. In 2017, Borg transitioned to Switzerland to work directly with the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation, becoming Head of Unit of the Swissnex network; she was responsible for the overall strategy for all Swissnex locations and 20 Science Counselors worldwide. Borg holds a master’s degree in international Affairs from The Graduate Institute in Geneva and an undergraduate degree from the University of St Andrews, UK.

Alexandre Bastos, Global Head of Open Innovation at Givaudan, has more than 20 years of experience in the food industry including foodtech venturing, innovation & entrepreneurship. With Givaudan he is responsible for the international Front End Innovation.

Pascal Bieri is the co-founder of Planted, a start-up creating healthy plant-based meat alternatives. He holds an MA in Informations-, Media- and Technology Management from the University of St Gallen, and previously worked in companies like SweetWorks Confections and DeepTech Capital AG before starting Planted in 2019. Planted is currently expanding to Germany and France with its plant-based meat products.

In his role as Operating Partner of Atlantic Labs & FoodLabs, Thilo Teboho Winter brings leadership experience across the People, Venture Development, Business Development, and Expansion functions to actively support more than 100 portfolio companies ranging from pre-seed stage to unicorn. His approach to helping founders scale from the ground up builds upon past success advising and working with CEOs, founders, executives, and people leaders across sectors and company stages. His experience is matched by his passion for operating models, organizational design, and the future of work & education.

Founder & CEO of Upgrain, Vincent Vida, has developed Europe's largest upcycling plant in the food sector and successfully established a global sales & distribution network for upcycled barley protein and fiber powders. He believes in the power of circularity & upcycling to establish a regenerative food system.
