We offer a portfolio of assays that can be used alone or together to provide a comprehensive assessment of cell health state, being cell viability, cytotoxicity, apoptosis and autophagy in multiple model systems and sample types. Due to the sensitivity of assay, the brightness of signals and robust assay chemistries, a wide array of Promega’s cell health and energy metabolism assays can be adapted for use with 3D cultures.

Most of Promega’s assays are easy to use pate-based luminescent or fluorescent assays that only require the use of a plate reader such as the GloMax® instruments. 

In-Vitro cell based assays for personal care and ingredients testing

Promega Cell-based assays can be used as alternative methods to evaluate cosmetic raw materials and finished products to confirm the lack of certain toxic properties (toxicology/toxicity) or to test products efficacy.
