The Centre for Language and Communication (CLS) offers a wide range of workshops for companies and institutions: we develop tailored offers for you in the areas of written and oral communication. The contents and formats are based on the cutting edge of knowledge from the fields of communication studies, writing process research and continuing education didactics. It goes without saying that we handle the tasks assigned to us in a careful and confidential manner.

The Testing Competence Centre supports and advises institutions in developing, validating and optimising language assessments. It is aimed at companies, the public sector and non-profit organisations.

Terminology
A further focus of our range of business services is the area of terminology and knowledge organisation: we advise you on all questions relating to terminology and check your documents with respect to their terminological consistency and comprehensibility as well as how intelligible they are to laypersons. We also support you in creating a terminology database for your company or organisation.
Teaching at the ZHAW's various Schools
Another area covered by our business services is teaching at the ZHAW's various Schools: we teach communication modules in German and foreign languages, as excellent communication skills are essential for success in the professional world.
