We are launching the Digital Futures Lab; a community for everyone, who would like to advance digital transformation.

Digital Futures Lab connects and promotes digital shapers. These are members of the ZHAW, who promote digitalization within the ZHAW as well as externally. Guest speaker Beat Glogger

To kick off the Digital Futures Lab community, we would like to inspire our prospective members. For this reason, we have invited a special guest of honor. Beat Glogger (1960) studied microbiology and completed journalism training. For 14 years, he worked as a journalist, moderator and chief editor for SRFs science magazine MTW. Since 2003, he has managed the company Scitec-Media GmbH, an office for science communication. This company produces “knowledge pages” for 20 Minuten, various regional newspapers as well as online media in German-speaking Switzerland.

In January 2018, Glogger founded the knowledge portal higgs.ch, in December 2018 he founded “Wissen für alle”, a non-profit foundation to promote scientific journalism. Beat Glogger has published several books of popular science as well as three science thrillers. He won various awards and is an honorary doctor of the University of Zurich for his “great contribution on how to communicate scientific content.”
