CAI in the news: 10vor10 report on the "Virtual Kids" project
The Swiss Television (SRF) program 10vor10 reports on the "Virtual Kids" project in "The Idea” segment.
How do you practise the criminal interrogation of children who may be victims of sexual violence? Together with the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, the CAI is developing a learning environment in the "Virtual Kids" project in which such interviews can be practiced using virtual characters. The development of the learning environment combines technologies from the fields of chatbots and dialog systems and serious games and embeds the learning environment from a forensic-psychological point of view in the training of persons who conduct such interviews.
