Expertise and research interests

My focus is to help people live in their own homes for as long as possible despite chronic impairments. My teaching interests include Qualitative Social Research, living with chronic impairments across the lifespan, and using digital solutions to promote self-management.
I am interested in mentoring international students to promote intercultural understanding and competencies in health professions education.

- Digital Health
- Diversity in the health professions
- Intercultural competence development
- Establishing international cooperation
- Curriculum development
