Expertise and research interests

My focus is to help people live in their own homes for as long as possible despite chronic impairments. My teaching focuses on qualitative social research, living with chronic impairments along the life span, digital solutions for self-management of impaired people, and professionalisation of care.
I am interested in supervising international students to foster intercultural understanding and competencies in nursing education.
