Bachelor's degree Engineering and Management: Specialisation

From the second year onwards, you can tailor your studies to your career goals and choose between three specialisations: Industrial Engineering, Data & Service Engineering, and Business Mathematics.

Industrial Engineering

The Industrial Engineering specialisation focuses on the analysis, design and optimisation of operational and production processes. Using theories, methods and tools from operations management, you will systematically optimise and design processes – from production and logistics to the digital transformation of industrial systems.

Data & Service Engineering

The Data & Service Engineering specialisation focuses on data-based services and decision support systems. You will develop solutions using data science and service design methods. Typical areas of application include process management, customer relationship management and asset management, particularly in the field of predictive maintenance.

Business Mathematics

In the Business Mathematics specialisation, you will deal with the analysis, simulation and optimisation of financial markets and modern financial instruments. To this end, you will combine financial theories with mathematical and statistical methods. The specialisation is recognised for admission to training as an actuary (SAV).
