DynPOWER 2026
The International Workshop on Dynamic Stability Challenges of Future Power Grids (DynPOWER) returns to Switzerland on Monday, 7 September 2026, marking its 10th anniversary. The event will be hosted at the Casinotheater Winterthur, which will serve as the main venue for this special jubilee edition.
Over the past decade, DynPOWER has evolved into a leading forum for discussing dynamic stability challenges in modern power systems. The workshop has grown steadily and expanded across Europe, with previous editions hosted in countries such as the Netherlands and Italy. Through its hybrid format, DynPOWER continues to bring together the international power systems community to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and discuss diverse perspectives on the challenges facing today's and tomorrow's electrical grids.
This year's program will cover a wide range of topics, including power system dynamics and control, the integration of renewable energy sources, converter-interfaced generation, recent power system incidents around the world and other emerging issues. The speaker lineup features experts from transmission system operators, leading technology companies, and top universities. In addition, the interactive format of the workshop encourages active participation, allowing attendees to engage with speakers through real-time questions and stimulating discussions.
As in previous years, the workshop will be held onsite for a limited number of participants, while all presentations will be streamed live to a global audience. The event is intended for junior and senior researchers from academia and industry, Master's and PhD students, electrical and electronic engineers, as well as anyone with an interest in the energy transition.
Participation is free of charge for both onsite and online attendees. Regardless of your choice of participation, please register for the event by following the link provided in the next section.
