NGSolve User Meeting 2026

This annual event brings together newcomers and experienced users of NGSolve, which is high-performance multiphysics finite element software. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in tutorials, share their experiences, discuss new features and explore software extensions. The meeting aims to foster collaboration among scientists from various backgrounds, including solid mechanics, fluid dynamics, and electromagnetics. Attendees can look forward to a comprehensive programme, including hands-on sessions and presentations, discussions on the latest developments in numerical simulation and visualisation.

From the Zürich airport local transport brings you to the centre of Winterthur in just 20 minutes.

The event takes place in a short walking distance to the train station. Numerous hotels in the immediate vicinity will ensure a pleasant stay in Winterthur

The trains run as often as every 15 to 20 minutes from Zürich Airport and Zürich City and take about 15 minutes to arrive in Winterthur.

From the main railway-station, the event location can be reached within a walking distance of less than 5 minutes.
