Stadler Award 2025 for ZHAW Students
Our Bachelor students Thierry Kohler and Timo Barth received the prestigious Stadler Award 2025 for their work in railway traffic research.
We warmly congratulate our students Thierry Kohler and Timo Barth (both Business Information Technology) on winning the Stadler Award 2025.
Their Bachelor thesis entitled “Probabilistic Modeling of Delay Propagation in Railway Traffic”, supervised by Nima Riahi and Stephan Bütikofer, impressed the jury with its innovative approach to analyzing delay patterns in rail transport.
The Stadler Award recognizes outstanding theses with strong practical relevance and highlights the high quality of education at ZHAW.
