Die Forschungsgruppe Responsible AI Innovation (RAI) befasst sich mit den technischen, regulatorischen und ethischen Aspekten der Künstlichen Intelligenz. Wir entwickeln sowohl technische als auch nicht-technische Ansätze, die Organisationen dabei unterstützen, KI-Technologien erfolgreich in Lösungen zu überführen, die sowohl wirtschaftlichen als auch gesellschaftlichen Mehrwert schaffen.
Unser besonderes Interesse gilt KI-Anwendungen mit weitreichenden Auswirkungen auf Menschen und Gesellschaft, beispielsweise im Gesundheitswesen, in der Neurotechnologie, in der Mensch-Maschine-Interaktion und bei automatisierten Entscheidungsprozessen.
Unsere Forschung untersucht sämtliche Aspekte der KI-Governance – von organisatorischen Praktiken über regulatorische Anforderungen und Zertifizierungen bis hin zu soziotechnischen Standards, vertrauenswürdiger KI und menschenzentrierter Technologie.
Verantwortungsvolle Innovation erfordert eine enge Zusammenarbeit zwischen unterschiedlichen Interessengruppen und Disziplinen. RAI arbeitet daher mit einem breiten Netzwerk nationaler und internationaler Organisationen zusammen, darunter SCRAI, CAIRNE, ADRA, SATW, IEEE Standards Organization, IEEE Brain, The Geneva Center for Security Policy, GESDA, OECD, und das Institute for Neuroethics.
