BauSIM 2026 General Terms and Conditions

Preamble
The contractual partner is ZHAW, represented by the Institute of Computational Physics and the Institute for Facility Management.

Scope
These general terms and conditions apply to the BauSIM 2026.
Registration
Registrations are binding. By registering, participants confirm that they are aware of these general terms and conditions and accept them.
Changes to the event and cancellation
The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the programme and the personnel involved. In this case, costs will not be refunded. The Institute of Computational Physics and Institute for Facility Management reserve the right to cancel the event for important reasons. Those who have already registered will be notified as soon as possible. If the event is cancelled, any payments already made will be refunded in full. Any further claims to compensation are excluded.
Fees
The registration and sponsoring fees can be found on the event's website.
Payment Terms
Registration fees are to settled upon registration. Sponsorship contributions will be invoiced and must be paid within 30 days of receipt of the invoice.
Cancellation
Cancellations must be communicated in writing and will be free of charge until 1^st August 2026. No refunds can be granted in the event of withdrawals received after this time or if a participant fails to attend.
Insurance
Insurance is the responsibility of the participants.
Sponsoring
The sponsor receives the rights in accordance with the published sponsorship conditions and grants ZHAW non-exclusive, temporally and spatially limited right to use the sponsor's names, logos and trademarks within the scope of the agreed sponsoring measures.
Photo and film Recordings
During the event, photo and/or film recordings will be made in which it will be possible to recognise the participants. These recordings may be used for communication activities of the ZHAW in connection with this event or published in print media and online. If you are not in agreement with this, please contact one of our staff members and/or the photographer.
Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
Swiss law applies to legal disputes related to this event. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland.
