BauSIM 2026 General Terms and Conditions
Preamble
The contractual partner is ZHAW, represented by the Institute of Computational Physics and the Institute for Facility Management.
- Scope
These general terms and conditions apply to the BauSIM 2026. - Registration
Registrations are binding. By registering, participants confirm that they have read, understood and accepted these general terms and conditions. - Changes to the event and cancellation
The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the programme and the personnel involved. In such cases, no costs will be refunded. The Institute of Computational Physics and Institute for Facility Management reserve the right to cancel the event for important reasons. Registered participants will be notified as soon as possible. In the event of cancellation, any payments already made will be refunded in full. Any further claims to compensation are excluded. - Fees
The registration and sponsoring fees can be found on the event's website. - Payment Terms
Registration fees are to be settled upon registration. Sponsorship contributions will be invoiced and must be paid within 30 days of receipt of the invoice. - Cancellation
Cancellations must be submitted in writing and are free of charge until 1st August 2026. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after this date or for participants who fail to attend. - Insurance
Insurance is the responsibility of the participants. - Sponsoring
The sponsor receives the rights set out in the published sponsorship conditions and grants ZHAW a non-exclusive, time- and territorially limited right to use the sponsor’s name, logos, and trademarks within the scope of the agreed sponsorship measures.. - Photo and Film Recordings
During the event, photographs and/or film recordings will be taken in which participants may be identifiable. These recordings may be used by ZHAW for communication purposes related to this event and may be published in print media and online. If you are not in agreement with this, please inform a member of our staff or the photographer. - Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
Swiss law shall apply to any legal disputes arising in connection with this event. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland.
