Structure of the PREFS Programme
Your Master’s programme consists of six segments, offering you maximum flexibility:
- Navigation: Introduction and orientation at the start of your studies.
- Agro Food Project: A four-semester practice-oriented project where you work in interdisciplinary teams on real-world challenges from business, applied research or NGOs – for example, in the fields of circular economy or climate change.
- Regenerative Preneurship: Social entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship and leadership.
- Agro Food Technology and Systems: In-depth understanding of technologies and food systems.
- Individual Skills: Elective modules that allow you to shape your personal and professional skillset.
- Disruption Days: Exploration of surprising, future-relevant topics beyond the traditional curriculum – designed to strengthen your personal, social and entrepreneurial competencies.
We encourage collaborative learning, initiative and practical experience. Throughout the programme, you are supported by mentors and coaches who guide you both academically and personally.

Admission Requirements
To participate in the Master’s programme, you must to have:
- A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, nutrition, environmental sciences, agricultural sciences, food sciences, or engineering (e.g., business administration, food technology, biotechnology, hospitality management, etc.)
→ Do you come from a different background? No worries – admission from various fields is part of our standard procedure. - An interest in regenerative food systems and entrepreneurial thinking.
- Courses and project work are conducted in English. A good command of English (B2 level or above is recommended) will help you to participate actively. However, this is not a formal admission requirement.
- Motivation to contribute your own ideas for sustainable transformation.
