From greenhouse gas balance to planning and implementation of effective measures

Net zero is more than just a goal: it requires clear system boundaries, reliable data, and a plan that really works in practice. In the ZHAW podcast “Natürlich” (Naturally), we use the example of Zweifel Chips to show how ambition can be turned into concrete action – and why the CAS “Net Zero in Practice” provides the right tools for this.

In this episode, Cédric Baier from Zweifel Chips and ZHAW show how a company can take a structured approach to net zero – step by step and with a view to implementation in everyday life.

Anyone who wants to set up similar processes in their own company will find the tools they need in the CAS “Net Zero in Practice”: GHG management and reporting (Scope 1–3), system boundaries and emission factors, prioritization of effective measures, and planning of reduction paths. This is supplemented by a practical assessment of reduction technologies (impact, costs, funding opportunities), relevant legal frameworks, and effective communication that provides internal guidance and engages external stakeholders.
