SIRA Lab
SIRA Research Space
SIRA conceptualizes socially intelligent systems as configurations within a multidimensional design space. Each axis represents a principled dimension of interaction, including embodiment, sensing and behavioral expression, social topology, temporal structure, agent involvement, and depth of social modelling. Applications are understood not as isolated systems but as coordinates within this space.
By systematically exploring combinations across these dimensions, SIRA investigates how artificial agents can act responsibly, adapt socially, and collaborate effectively across individual, triadic, and group contexts. This structured perspective enables cumulative science, controlled experimental validation, and transferable design principles for socially intelligent and responsible AI.
