Process Management
The Competence Center for Process Management and Information Security focuses intensively on questions related to business processes, particularly their technical support, automation, and integration. In doing so, we pursue a holistic socio-technical approach that enables us to rapidly implement vertical prototypes that create tangible value. Our work spans from the elicitation of business requirements in the field to technical implementation, for example through the use of a Business Process Management System (BPMS) or application-specific IoT hardware.
Information Security
The use of various technologies also creates dependencies and new risks for organizations. For this reason, information security represents our second core focus area. We address organizational issues in particular, especially the challenges of pragmatic implementation in small and medium-sized enterprises. The education and continuing professional development of employees, the development of suitable training concepts, and the design of innovative approaches are just some of the topics we focus on in order to ensure that services can be delivered securely today and in the future.
