"Time to lead" study

At a glance

Description

The role of leaders has changed over time in many organizations. Today, many leaders feel overwhelmed by their workload. In addition, they often feel that they lack the time, resources, and tools to be effective; they experience role conflict. Furthermore, not all leaders may embrace the changing leadership role in the same way; this change can reduce their self-efficacy.

To address this development and to make leadership more meaningful and value-adding (i.e. more attractive), our practice partner plans to create space for its leaders to experiment with effective and value-adding leadership roles. How do leaders experience these changes? To what extent do they perceive the changes as a positive challenge or a negative stress factor? How does their understanding of their role change in this context? And with which outcomes for the company projects and the daily work of entire teams?
