Description
Recently, GEA Westfalia Separator Group GmbH presented a single-use disc separator for microbial as well as mammalian cell culture processes. By using centrifugal force instead of filter-based harvesting methods, the GEA kytero® Single Use Pharma Separator is intended to achieve high-quality and high-yield separation results that are suitable for efficient up- or downscaling. As part of a joint research project, an evaluation is being carried out using an antibody-producing CHO cell line.
