Description
In the future, communication between the ground station and the satellites will take place optically. This will substancially increase the amount of data transmitted compared to current methods. The prerequisite for this are extremely precise ground telescopes that can track satellites exactly. In the OGT project, the target accuracy is optimised with damping and sophisticated control engineering and the future of satellite communication is tested using the telescope.
