Courses

«COPCA® stands for COPing with and CAring for Infants with Special Needs. The early intervention programme for infants and young children focuses on the active inclusion of the whole family. The coaching of parents is a central component. Parents learn how they can independently and optimally support their child’s development as part of the child’s everyday life.»

Prof. Dr. Schirin Akhbari Ziegler, Head of advanced training course COPCA®

Modular design

Our continuing education programmes are aimed at professionals who have either earned a degree from a university of applied sciences or have been awarded one subsequently (Nachträglicher Titelerwerb (NTE)). Their modular structure enables participants to combine individual building blocks (modules) to suit their needs. Continuing education courses are shorter and take between one and several days to complete. They can be taken individually or one after another towards a continuing education programme, such as a Certificate (CAS), Diploma (DAS), or Master of Advanced Studies (MAS). This system offers great flexibility in terms of content, time, and financial planning.

Achievements Comparable Across Europe

Your performance in a continuing education course or programme is assessed using ECTS credits according to the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), which allows your achievements to be appreciated anywhere in Europe. One ECTS credit equals a workload of 30 hours of study.
