People, Technology, and Governance Lab

“We assist companies and organizations in navigating the challenges and opportunities presented by evolving societal expectations and rapid technological innovation in matters relating to social issues, human rights, and ethics.”
Prof. Dr. Marco Clemente, Head of People, Technology, and Governance Lab
Competencies

The People, Technology, and Governance Lab (PTGL) focuses on the human, social, and ethical aspects of leadership. It bridges the gap between cutting-edge research and practical application, equipping leaders with the tools to anticipate future challenges and seize opportunities at the nexus of people, technology, and governance.
In the PTGL, we believe that sustainability leadership is inherently tied to aligning people, new technologies, and governance. Through research, education, and collaboration, we empower leaders to develop frameworks that balance innovation with inclusivity, accountability, and sustainable growth.
Our focus areas are:
- Social issues in sustainability with a particular interest in equity, diversity, inclusion, and business and human rights.
- AI and ethics.
- Ethical behavior and organizational culture.
- Corporate ethics and governance systems.
Continuing Education

The PTGL expertise directly flows into the CAS Managing Diversity, Inclusion, and Social Sustainability: Its participants gain vivid and practical insights into the strategic field of DIS, enabling them to drive equity and diversity forward.
