Description
Since 2018, the City of Winterthur has established a Smart City strategy and programme organisation in order to be able to carry out corresponding activities. With WinLab, the city of Winterthur is also positioning itself as a real laboratory for innovation developments, including within the framework of Smart City Winterthur.
The content of the Smart City strategy is currently being revised in order to take into account the experiences of recent years and the current context (including the SFOE Front Runner Programme, coordination with the energy and climate concept, planned digitalisation strategy). In addition to examining the roles, content orientation and topics, the further development of the WinLab innovation ecosystem should also be driven forward (with the involvement of various partners). The ZHAW supports these processes and further developments.
