Description
We create a Real-Lab (Mobile Inclusion Lab, “MobILe”) that enables experimental development of sustainable rehabilitation and assistive (R&A) technologies for people with disabilities. By providing a toolkit (hardware and software, e.g., 3D-printing, sensors, motors, human-computer interfaces) with teaching and support (technical, human-centered design HCD), we create a community that addresses the sustainable development goals. Through joint interprofessional research and knowledge transfer with researchers and with students, we foster a culture of developing sustainable, inclusive, human-centered solutions at ZHAW. Within the grant, MobILE will be developed and implemented. It will then be offered on a long-term basis to all interested parties at ZHAW.
