Description
To investigate opportunities and feasibility of Pay Per Use business models for industrial goods, the project team conducted benchmark interviews with leading Swiss and German B-2-B companies on the current state of Pay Per Use business models to identify challenges, hurdles, drivers, trends and best practices. Furthermore, additional interviews were conducted with financing specialists to shed light on financing aspects. The insights gathered from the interviews were supplemented by literature and led to the identification of five business model types and three important factors that strongly shape PPU business models.
