Description
The aim of this project is to quantify, based on different use cases, the contribution of the Internet of Things (IoT) to an increased energy efficiency and climate protection. Moreover, the total contribution to the energy efficiency and climate protection goals of Switzerland shall be evaluated. In-depth analysis of the use cases before and after the implementation of IoT solutions and of the available data shall allow to investigate the energy demand and the carbon-footprint of these use-cases. In a further step, the potential for the combination of IoT and optimized logistics in Switzerland shall be estimated.
