ZHAW School of Engineering and Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand sign double degree agreement for the Master of Science in Engineering
In March 2022, the ZHAW School of Engineering and Victoria University of Wellington agreed on a collaboration that includes a joint PhD programme, research collaborations, student exchanges and joint professorships between the two universities. The co-operation is now being extended to include a double degree agreement for the Master of Science in Engineering. Representatives of the two universities have signed an agreement to this effect. It will apply from the 2024/25 academic year and is provisionally set for a period of five years.
In addition to the degree from the ZHAW School of Engineering, students will also earn a university degree from Victoria University of Wellington in two academic years. This gives them full access to a doctorate.
Victoria University of Wellington was founded in 1897 and is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in New Zealand. It comprises nine faculties at three campuses in Wellington. More than 22,000 students from over 100 countries are currently enrolled.
