Description

Within LaPaSim we will develop the Multiphysics simulation models for an industrial unit of a novel ambient temperature drying tech-nology (LaminarPace) enabling dry powder and temperature-stable vaccines, at an industrial scale and ready for integration in commercial production. An innovative Simulation-based-Process-Design approach will be elaborated to consider the complex Multiphysics coupling of mass-, heat- and momentum- transport mechanisms, lifting the technology from the pilot- to an optimised and validated industrial scale. Thus, we will ultimately provide an opportunity to crack the cold chain and increase the worldwide vaccine supply.
