The digital assistance of the planning methodology and the BIM linkage allow a scaling of a methodology for smart refurbishments that is already established but still dependent on individual know-how carriers. The dissemination of this knowledge can thus benefit from the dynamics in which the construction industry currently finds itself due to digitalization. For investors and real estate owners, digitization results in greater transparency both during the planning phase and during construction and commissioning, as well as in the long operating phase of each property.
