Description
Optimisation of additively manufactured metallic components with process simulation. The calibration process of dedicated process simulation software is to be further developed in such a way that a more precise prediction of component distortion is possible. This is to be used to optimise designs and the process strategy in the additive manufacturing process of metallic components (specifically thin-walled components susceptible to warpage).
