Description
Geothermal borehole heat exchangers (BHE) play an important role in the energy turnaround of the Swiss heating sector. Due to the increasingly dense utilisation of the ground, regeneration of the BHEs is becoming more urgent. With a simulation study, seasonal storage of solar thermal energy via geothermal BHE will be investigated, with a special focus on the area-efficient use of PVT collectors for the simultaneous generation of electricity and heat. From the analysis of these quarters and the simula-tion of different expansion scenarios, transferable key statements will be developed.
