Description
Research project to develop procedures for safe drone flight
operations beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS). The term BVLOS
describes a flight or part of a flight during which the drone pilot
does not have visual contact with the drone. For example, these can
be flights at night, flights in poor visibility (fog) or flights
behind buildings.
Containment: Drones up to 30 kilograms, focus on specific flight
operations using the BAZL/JARUS Specific Operational Risk
Assessment (SORA).
