The 9th international workshop on dynamic stability challenges of the future power grids DynPOWER is hosted this year by the Italian transmission system operator Terna, in Rome, Italy on Tuesday, 9 September 2025.

After nine years of successful events, DynPOWER has been evolving, growing and moving around in Europe from Switzerland, the Netherlands, and now in Italy. Thanks to its hybrid modality, the workshop is continuing bringing together the international power system community to discuss, debate and share different views about the dynamic stability challenges encountered in modern electrical grids.

The 2025 workshop will cover a broad range of topics such as power systems dynamics and control, integration of renewable energy sources, use of converter interfaced generation, the recent incidents and challenges in Europe and more. The speakers will represent transmission system operators, leader technological companies and top universities. Moreover, the format of the workshop allows attendees to engage our speakers with real-time questions and trigger interesting discussions.

As has become a tradition, the workshop is taking place onsite for a limited number of participants, while the presentations are streamed in real-time to also reach our international audience. The workshop is addressed to young and senior researchers, master and PhD students, electrical and electronic engineers and public with interest in power system dynamics and control, inverter-based generation, and energy transitions. 

Registration is FREE OF CHARGE for both in person and online participants.
