The degree program in Business Administration trains you to a become a problem-solver in a company or organization. A degree in Business Administration qualifies you for a demanding specialist position and prepares you for taking on a management position in due course. You have a wide range of career prospects.

In addition to the basic business modules, you can choose from one of the following seven specializations for one-third of the program, depending on your interests: Banking and Finance, Behavioral Design, Financial Management, General Management, MarketingPolitics and Management and Risk and Insurance. In this way, you can focus on a preferred subject area while completing the general business modules will enable you to keep all options open.

What You Will Learn

In the context of internationalization and digitalization, the degree program in Business Administration enables graduates to analyze, design, and manage products, processes, and projects in companies and organizations.

You will acquire expertise in the areas of marketing, finance, strategy, human capital management, and production/operations.

You can choose one of the following specializations:

In addition to deepening your specialist knowledge, you can broaden your general knowledge by choosing from a large selection of elective modules in your final year of study. Topics include digitalization, internationalization, psychology, pension provision and financing, real estate, marketing, data analysis, and law.

In addition, the program focuses on methodological and personal skills. You will strengthen your problem-solving skills and your ability to develop solutions that go beyond conventional approaches. You will learn to familiarize yourself quickly with new topics and to apply applied research methods effectively.

You will work in a goal- and result-oriented manner and make responsible decisions, act according to these decisions, and be able to justify your actions.

Finally, you will increase your social skills, such as your ability to communicate well in German and English. You will work in groups and solve comprehensive case studies, which will require teamwork and interdisciplinary action.
