Dr. Saskia Stucki receives the 2025 Latsis Swiss Science Prize
CARE Director Dr. Saskia Stucki has been awarded the prestigious 2025 Latsis Swiss Science Prize. The award recognizes her groundbreaking research at the intersection of animal and human rights, the environment and sustainability.
The Latsis Prize is one of the most renowned scientific distinctions in Switzerland and is awarded annually by the Swiss National Science Foundation on behalf of the Fondation Latsis.

CARE Director Dr. Saskia Stucki Delivered Keynote at European Animal Rights Law Conference
From 4-6 September 2025, the European Animal Rights Law Conference took place at Magdalene College at the University of Cambridge. The three-day conference under the theme “Animal Rights in Legislation” brought together leading experts leading experts from across Europe.
As part of the program, CARE Director Dr. Saskia Stucki, who also serves as a member of the Advisory Board of the Cambridge Centre for Animal Rights Law, delivered a keynote address on “Real Animal Rights: Pluralism and Pragmatism in a Non-ideal World”, which inspired thought-provoking discussions.
