Sustainability Safari at Hivoduct

Join the Sustainability Safari and discover how Hivoduct is advancing sustainable and efficient power transmission with its innovative compressed-air cable technology—and what you can learn from the development of this groundbreaking solution.

Hivoduct develops, manufactures, and installs compressed-air cables for medium- and high-voltage power transmission. Instead of using climate-damaging insulating gases such as SF₆ or PFAS-based gas mixtures, the company relies on pure compressed air, combining high performance and safety with a significantly lower environmental impact. Thanks to their large conductor cross-sections, Hivoduct's cables reduce transmission losses. Their robust, non-flammable aluminum construction also enables space-efficient installation, for example in existing tunnels and utility ducts.

Power transmission projects are inherently large-scale, long-term infrastructure projects. Learn how a startup is entering and aiming to grow in an industry traditionally dominated by large multinational corporations.
