ZHAW Master’s in Banking and Finance in Financial Times Ranking

The Master’s program in “Banking and Finance” at the ZHAW School of Management and Law (SML) has been included in the international ranking “Masters in Finance pre-experience 2025” by the Financial Times for the second consecutive year. The SML Master’s program also improved its ranking by 15 places compared to the previous year.

The MSc in Banking and Finance at the School of Management and Law is ranked 50th in an international comparison, placing it among the top Master’s degree programs of its kind in the field of finance worldwide. The University of St. Gallen and the University of Lausanne are the only two other Swiss universities in this ranking. This annual evaluation is based on several criteria that relate to both the business school and the degree program it offers. Additionally, Master’s program alumni are interviewed by the Financial Times for their opinions.

“This is an excellent result and a valued recognition of the extraordinary commitment of our colleagues. I am proud of the performance of our team, which continually works to improve what we offer. The placement of our Master’s in Banking and Finance in the renowned Financial Times Ranking is an important indicator of the high quality of this degree program. The award is also greatly valued because the young talent entering the internationally significant financial center of Zurich receive an excellent education, and we can prepare them thoroughly for careers in the global financial world.”
