Falk Uebernickel takes over as co-director at the IMM

For almost a year, Steffen Müller has been co-director of the Institute of Marketing Management (IMM). The management team is now expanding, as Falk Uebernickel, another proven expert, assumes his role as co-director of the Institute.

Falk Uebernickel is a specialist in innovation & information systems research and design thinking. He holds a Master’s degree in business informatics from the University of Regensburg and a Ph.D. in business administration from the University of St. Gallen. He has previously served as a professor at the University of St. Gallen and the Hasso Plattner Institute at the University of Potsdam. His appointment as professor was unanimously approved by the University Council.

The IMM has established itself as a point of contact for national and international companies in marketing management. It is characterized by close integration of teaching, continuing education, and highly relevant research, setting trends in both practical application and scientific knowledge.
