A particular highlight of EuroXR 2025 will be presentations of the latest European research projects.

  • CORTEX²: Cooperative Real-Time Experiences with Extended Reality
  • SPIRIT (Scalable Platform for Innovations on Real-Time Immersive Telepresence);
  • OPENVERSE, LUMINOUS and THEIA-XR, which will each hold workshops and live demonstrations.

Funded by the European Commission, these projects are driving XR research and application forward in a decisive manner across the continent.

From 3 to 5 September 2025, the ZHAW School of Management and Law will proudly host the international XR community on its St.-Georgenplatz campus in Winterthur.

Organised in close cooperation with the European Association for eXtended Reality, the ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences is working intensively to ensure an inspiring, high-quality and professional conference experience. Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Schäfer, Head of Service Lab X, leads the local organisation as Local General Co-Chair.
