Factsheet on wind energy
The model introduced in the article «Technologies on the test-bench» is evaluated using wind energy as an example.
The resulting factsheet(PDF 17,0 MB) includes the evaluation based on the newly developed set of indicators. Further it contains the following elements:
- a general overview on the topic of wind energy
- the estimated potential of wind energy in Switzerland
- key figures on power generation in Switzerland
- societal and social issues on wind energy
- a SWOT – analysis on wind energy including a qualitative assessment on the suitability of wind energy as part of a future supply system
