In cooperation with KYBURZ Switzerland AG in Freienstein, IMS has developed drive systems for electric vehicles in various different sizes.

KYBURZ is a well-known manufacturer of electric vehicles. To ensure that their drives meet the requirements, the drivetrain of some vehicles was fully tested and optimized in a CTI-funded project. This included energy storage, control and power electronics and, of course, the electric motors. The existing systems were tested using laboratory measurements, while new, customized solutions were developed.
